Stickymind+ Privacy Policy

Stickymind+ is designed as a local-first productivity app. Your stickies, projects, audio notes, video stickies, Smart Attachments, StickyCalendar items, and profile settings are stored on your device first.

What Stickymind+ stores

• Sticky notes, task details, due dates, tags, priorities, and completion state.
• Project rooms, relationship notes, waiting-on items, and calendar metadata.
• Audio/video recordings you create in the app.
• File/folder/app attachment metadata that you explicitly create.
• Settings, appearance preferences, mascot selections, and app profile details.

Smart Attachments

Smart Attachments link notes to folders, files, apps, websites, and projects you choose. Stickymind+ stores metadata and security-scoped bookmarks so it can reconnect to those items later. It does not read private file contents unless you explicitly import, preview, or analyze them.

AI and data use

Apple Intelligence and on-device AI features are intended to run locally when available. Cloud AI providers, such as OpenAI or Anthropic, are optional paid features. Stickymind+ must not send notes, files, audio, video, email, calendar, or attachment content to cloud AI without user action and an eligible cloud AI plan.

Email, calendar, contacts, and reminders

Integrations are permission-based. Stickymind+ only accesses connected accounts after you authorize them. Email analysis is approval-gated and should never send, delete, or archive messages without explicit user action.

iCloud and App Group sync

When signed with Apple Developer CloudKit capabilities and iCloud Sync is enabled (Lifetime+), Stickymind+ can share data across Mac, iPhone, iPad, widgets, and extensions via App Groups and CloudKit. Sync is off by default. If those capabilities are unavailable, Stickymind+ falls back to local storage and tells you. Apple Watch sync is not shipping yet.

Security

Sensitive API keys are stored in the macOS Keychain. Locked stickies can be encrypted at rest and require authentication where supported. Privacy Mode hides locked/private notes during meetings or screen sharing.

Your control

You can disable cloud AI, turn on Local-only AI mode, turn iCloud Sync off, disconnect integrations, turn off sounds/animations, and export or delete your data from the app.
