Switch to DriveKeep without losing a mile

Bring this year's drives and earnings from MileIQ, Everlance, Stride, Gridwise, Solo, TripLog, Driversnote or any spreadsheet. Your year-to-date mileage deduction carries over, and new drives track themselves, free and unlimited.

Why drivers switch: free, unlimited mileage tracking; offer checks before you accept; federal, state and local tax with one-tap links to pay the IRS and your state; airports and tonight's events on a live map; and no bank or gig-app login. DriveKeep never touches your driver account.

Three steps

  1. Export from your old appDownload a CSV of your drives (and earnings, if it has them). Most apps email the file to you.
  2. Save it to FilesOpen the email on your iPhone, tap the attachment, then Share → Save to Files.
  3. Import in DriveKeepActivity → Import → From another app → choose the file. DriveKeep shows how many business drives, miles and dollars of deductions it found, then tap Import.

Help for your old app

MileIQ

On the MileIQ website, open Reports, pick the dates (for example January 1 to today) and download the CSV. Drives marked Personal are left out automatically.

Everlance

On the Everlance website, choose Export, pick Trips and the dates, and download the CSV. Business trips come over with their start and end locations.

Stride

In Stride, open your tax reports, export the mileage report and save the CSV from the email.

Gridwise

In Gridwise, open Earnings, scroll to Export Tax Reports, choose CSV and save it from the email. Gridwise sends CSV exports to Plus members; on the free plan, export a PDF and add your yearly total as one trip in DriveKeep (Activity → Trips → +).

Solo, TripLog, Driversnote and others

Look for Export, Reports or Download in the app or on its website and choose CSV (or Excel, then save as CSV). Any file with a date column and a miles column works. DriveKeep also reads amounts, so earnings come over too.

Good to know

Will I get duplicate drives?

No. A drive on the same day with the same miles as one already in DriveKeep is skipped, so importing the same file twice is safe.

What about personal and commute drives?

They're left out. Only business drives count toward your mileage deduction.

Is my file uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is read on your iPhone, and only the drives and earnings you import are saved, to your phone and your private iCloud.

Can I take my data out of DriveKeep later?

Yes, anytime and for free: Settings → Tax reports → Create spreadsheet (CSV).

Something didn't import

Email the first few lines of the file (remove anything private) to support@pauram.com and tell us which app it came from. We'll add support for it.
