Common questions

How much does it cost?: Moonsprites is free to play. There are optional in-app purchases, and every purchase asks a grown-up first.
Which devices does it run on?: iPhone and iPad with iOS 17 or later.
Are there ads?: No. No ads and no tracking, ever.
Why does the moon change?: Bellroot's moon follows the real moon in your sky. On full-moon nights the lanternflowers glow brighter and you get a free Full Moon pack.
Can card packs be bought?: No. Card packs are earned by playing and are never sold.
I bought something and it's missing.: Open Settings in the game and tap Restore purchases (it's also in the Shop). Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple Account you bought with.
Will I lose my progress on a new phone?: No, if you're signed in to iCloud on both phones: a copy of your progress is kept in your own iCloud account.
Does it work offline?: Yes. Trading cards with a friend uses Wi-Fi or Bluetooth between your two phones, and nothing goes through our servers.
Which languages are included?: English, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), German, French, Japanese, Korean, Italian and Chinese (Simplified).
Is Moonsprites based on a book?: Yes. Moonsprites is based on a book by A. Alexander G. Visit the author's site at immortalvows.com.
Is it okay for kids?: Yes. There's no chat, no ads and no data collection, and links that leave the game ask a grown-up first.
How do I start over?: Settings › Reset progress erases your progress on the phone and in iCloud.
